Texas hold em poker is one of the most popular casino games. This game is easy to be learned but you cannot win without strategy. And losing won't be good for anyone because poker is money game. Position is very important when playing poker. The importance increases when playing flop games like Texas hold em or Omaha because your position remains the same throughout all betting rounds. When you are sitting in early position you will be acting early in the hand and will not have as much information as the players acting in later position. Sometimes you will call with a hand when acting early only to see the pot raised and re-raised behind you. So you might be forced to fold a hand you already invested money with. If you are acting late, you know what pot-odds you are getting on the hand and also have the advantage of acting late in upcoming betting rounds. It means that you can play more hands when sitting in late position than in early position. Reading opponents' hands is very important when you play Texas hold em. At the Texas hold em are range of hands and their probabilities that your opponents could have. In the beginning of the game when all players receive their first two cards, every possible two-card hand is equally probable. Every action a player takes gives you information that you can use to adjust these probabilities. Always be aware of tells. If a player has his hands on his chips and is leaning forward, usually this is an act intended to get you to just check. The player in fact does not want to raise you or maybe even call a bet. Another important thing to remember is that if the player think somebody watch him, he typically act the opposite of what he have. 

Hands in Texas hold em Poker : 

Royal Flush - Made of up all of the same suite, ten through Ace. It is a straight and a flush and the royal part comes from it being made up of the highest cards. 

Straight Flush - Five cards in a sequence in the same suit 

Four of a Kind - Any four cards of the same rank 

Full House or Full Boat/Boat - Three-of-a-kind and a pair. 

Flush - Five cards of the same suit that doesn't make a straight 

Straight - Cards of five consecutive ranks when not all five are of the same suit 

Three of a Kind - Three cards of the same rank and two unrelated cards. 

Two Pair - Two separate pairs and one unrelated card. 

Pair - Two cards of the same value and three unrelated cards. 

High Card - If a hand contains none of the above combinations, it's valued by the highest card in it.
